The last few days have been super chilly here in Bondi, and sometimes that means your ‘snooze’ button ends up getting more of a workout than you do! AGOGA to the rescue with this fast, simple, no-equipment workout you can literally roll out of bed and do with just your own trusty legs, a pair of sneakers and somewhere to run around – it makes a good, snappy lunch time workout too.
Simply do a gentle warm-up, or jog, then go through the below as quickly as you can.
ROUND 1
- 60 Fast Bodyweight Squats
- 60 Fast Mountain Climbers
- 60 Bicycle Crunches
- 6-Minute Run (on the treadmill, around the park, up the beach, or even around your own block will do!)
NEXT UP…
- 30 Fast Bodyweight Squats
- 30 Fast Mountain Climbers
- 30 Bicycle Crunches
- 3-Minute Run
AND FINALLY…
- 15 Fast Bodyweight Squats
- 15 Fast Mountain Climbers
- 15 Bicycle Crunches
- 90s Run
FINISH WITH…
10 x Star Jumps and 1 x Burpee (full burpee, chest/hips dropping to floor each time), then 9 x Star Jumps and 1 x Burpee, continuing to reduce the stars by 1 rep each time you come back to them, until you reach 1 of each.
Then do the same with full sit-ups, or v-sit crunches (reducing from 10/9/8/etc) and your choice of 1 x 10m ‘bounds’, or ‘primal crawl’ journey in between each sit-up set (literally squat jump, or primal crawl the distance of 10m, then start your sit-ups again).
